Cooking is one of my favorite things.
It is predictable and also not so predictable.
Why?
For the prdictable part: I can google it and do all the steps of cooking, and also imagine how it taste like inside my head.
But for the enjoy-your-meal part is always the unpredictable one: it always surprises me.
Sometimes it tastes so good that I feel I was well-treated by somebody, and this somebody is me.
I am the host and also the guest.
I suddenly find that it is me who can makes me feel happy.
For the past few years, I put the spoon into my mouth just for staying alive.
From this day on, I will cook for myself and swallow only for one purpose: for it makes me feel alive.
And then while I decide to make myself better and better day by day, I met this cookbook by Jane Hornby "What To Cook & How to Cook It."
There are 100 meals in this book, and I plan to do all of them.
Every week I will do one dish; I will try to follow the order in this cookbook, but I may change the order some times.
Hope that I can finish all of them after 25 months.
Wish me goodluck!
